A new Zero-day exploit has been identified that affects Zimbra 8.8.15.

A new Zero-day exploit has been identified that affects Zimbra 8.8.15. Zimbra 8.8.15p30 has been updated and is now available. This critical issue affects all versions of Zimbra 8.8.15, and you are strongly encouraged to update to the latest patch. Refer to the release notes for instructions on installing the patch.

To confirm that the fix is installed, you can check the version of the “zimbra-patch” package installed on your server.

zimbra-patch -> 8.8.15.1642752384.p30-1

After:
zimbra-patch -> 8.8.15.1643980846.p30-1

New Release Cycle for Zimbra Patches!

Zimbra is moving from a monthly patch release cycle to an alternate month release cycle (Jan, Mar, May, etc.).

Zimbra is committed to ongoing process review and adjustments. At the end of 2021, we determined that an alternate-month release cycle would allow us to provide higher quality deliverables. We will review and reassess this again towards the end of 2022.

We remain committed to rapid responses, and if necessary (e.g. security issue), we will produce a patch out of cycle. We look forward to your feedback on this change.
